This policy explains how Westfield Transport (Cornwall) Ltd uses the personal information collected from you for the company operation. It also describes how long that information is kept for and the limited circumstances in which we might disclose it to third parties.

Personal details we hold

Westfield Transport (Cornwall) Ltd holds and uses your company/personal information within our Accounting and Traffic system for legitimate business reasons only, this information is backed up to a fully encrypted server and stored for data security and loss prevention services. We are the only ones who access this data.

The data we hold is as follows

  • Company name
  • Company address (including all site locations)
  • Company contacts (sales, management, accounts)
  • Various telephone numbers and fax numbers  – as supplied by you
  • Various e-mail addresses as supplied by you
  • VAT number (may be shared with HMRC)
  • Bank account details.

(Company details will be used to facilitate payments through BACS and Lloyds Bank Plc)

In the event of non-payment and any bad debtors, your company details may be shared with our solicitors Stephens & Scowen.
Customer contact records – Records of calls, emails and postal interactions with our website and customer centre are maintained for audit, training and service improvement purposes.
We have CCTV coverage of our depot and yard, including Number plate recognition which is saved to hard drive, this information is not shared with anyone else and is kept in case of a claim arising. This information is deleted after a 3 month period.
In order to comply with the General Data Protection Regulations, your details will only be kept for the shortest time required. This will vary according to the type of data being held.
